Roatan´s Trip

By: Katlin Aguirre and Stephanie Silva
During February 3th-6, ninth, tenth and eleventh grade went to a trip to Roatan, to visit one of the most beautiful place in our country. They wanted to learn more about it, Before they went to Roatan, some expected that the trip would be tiring and boring. Others expected they wouldn´t sleep and it would be fun. They did get tired, but from having so much fun and having a good time. As Krizia said, “I really had a good time and lots of fun!”
The girls really liked the Canopy and logically going shopping. The food wasn´t really good. Jose said, “The food was just a bit and it not tasted good”, but it don´t matter. From this they learned that Honduras has beautiful things.
During the trip the students played basketball against some guys that live there. They realized that they needed to practice more at school, because they lost.
This trip was an excellent experience in which students learned and have fun at the same time. Making this kind of things help them to enjoy being a student. It makes life so much easier knowing that is not always responsibility. It is making life as they want it.

  1. It sounds like you had a wonderful school trip. I've seen pictures of Honduras and it does look like a beautiful country. Your article was descriptive and funny too. God Bless you-Audrey, teacher, NC, USA

  2. Nice work. It seems as though that you could've included a few more details concerning what all of those that remained in Sigua did. However, I did think that your use of the quotations was very helpful. I've read from quite a few of the students that went to Roatan weren't pleased with the food and that the canopy tour was the most exciting thing they did. So your information is corroborated by other sources as well. One more note, grammar is always a difficult thing and you had a few minor errors that we could discuss in more detail later. So, if you both would like more insight in that area just ask and we all could sit down and read and discuss it together.

    Overall, good work!

    Mr. Steve
